We're Looking for People Who Want to Build With Us

For more than three decades, UrbanArts has been a creative home in Toronto’s west end. Working here means joining a small, dedicated team that cares deeply about the communities we serve across York South-Weston and beyond. From our Skills and Training Centre in Mount Dennis to Weston Common Cultural Hub, our staff make space for artists to develop their practice, for young people to find their voice, and for neighbours to gather around culture. If that work speaks to you, we would love to hear from you.

We are an organization in a moment of growth. With expanded capacity, new partnerships, and ambitious plans for the years ahead, our team is shaping what a community arts organization can be in Toronto today. Staff at UrbanArts take on meaningful responsibility, collaborate closely across programs and sites, and see the impact of their work reflected in the artists, youth, and residents who walk through our doors.

Our team is rooted in a few shared commitments. We believe in equitable access to creative spaces, programs, and opportunities. We work across difference with care and respect. We treat the communities we serve as partners, not audiences. And we hold ourselves to professionalism and warmth in equal measure, knowing that how we work together matters as much as what we produce.

UrbanArts is a good fit for people who bring initiative, curiosity, and a genuine interest in community based arts work. Our staff come from a range of backgrounds in programming, operations, administration, and the arts sector, and we actively welcome applications from candidates who reflect the diversity of the neighbourhoods we serve.
