COVID-19 Update April 1st, 2020

In light of ongoing uncertainty and recent announcements regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), UrbanArts continues to take protective measures to aid in controlling and containing the spread of the virus. As such, we will continue with a blanket closure of all programs until further notice to help #FlattenTheCurve.

Our 5 Bartonville Ave. E. and Artscape Weston Common (34 John St.) locations will remain closed to the public. Staff are continuing to work remotely on planning, administration and coordination of upcoming programs and activities so we can be prepared to offer you full and engaging arts programs once we are back to normal.

We are truly missing the daily connections with our participants, friends and supporters and want to ensure we can engage with you as we know the arts can have a huge and positive impact on our lives and well-being.  To that end, we are working on a series of online programming to keep our York South-Weston family and friends actively engaged with the arts during this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated, and will promptly advise if further actions are required as information becomes available.
For information on all affected programs, please email Mick Brambilla, Program Manager mick@urbanartstoronto.org
